SUPERCHARGED DYNO |
Put my deposit down at Gresham Scion in late February for my Asphalt FR-S.
Got my VIN a couple of days ago and I actually located my car stashed at the Portland Toyota port, along with other Portland area cars that have been processed. The car will be coming with BeSpoke audio and the rear trunk mat. Immediate future plans include coilovers or springs, some new wheels, tinted windows, HIDs and probably debadging. http://i50.tinypic.com/5ww27b.jpg |
Based on my experience not to many people have an idea what a Scion is.
|
Yeah, but I want them to have NO idea. My SC430 was debadged (back in the day) and I would get some really random guesses. It's just fun that way. I'll just stick some Maserati badges on it and fool 99% of the people all of the time, haha!
|
Just say no to badges and say NO NO to wrong badges. Great looking car. How long till you start throwing mods at it? I am impatiently waiting to see some build threads.
|
Hahaha... I wouldn't really put Maserati badges on it, just saying it would be funny. I did debadge my GTO and put Batman emblems on it... that was pretty amusing. I was embarrassed that it was a Pontiac, though. I feel like I should apologize to Bruce Wayne.
I'll start modding immediately. I don't wait around. Turbo or supercharger will go on as soon as I find one I like. http://i45.tinypic.com/behus6.jpg |

I did a 2 step polish this past weekend and it evened it out a bit, though it is still noticeable. |

I'm sensing a theme with all of your cars...:w00t:
The new age GTO was a sweet car...too bad it got such a lukewarm reception with its first run in 2004 I really wish the G8 was still around, I looked long and hard and getting one...maybe it will return to civilians as the Caprice...:burnrubber: |
I bought the car immediately after a six week solo backpacking adventure in Australia. I really wanted a G8 GXP (Holden Commodore) but didn't want to drop $40,000 on a Pontiac. In fact, I got rid of mine because the stigma of driving a Pontiac, even a 450hp (chipped, intake, exhaust) Pontiac, was just too much to handle.
The Commodore is COMING TO AMERICA!!! http://www.autoblog.com/2012/05/17/h...rth-america-o/ http://i47.tinypic.com/2vm95rr.jpg |

Haha, oh yeah, lately I've been into black. I keep telling myself no, but somehow I keep doing it anyway. It wasn't always that way. |
