Slammed BRZ render featured on StanceNation

the guys there are pretty crazy.

Mother of God, how effing awesome is this!? Yes, you’re looking at the all new Subaru BRZ aka Scion FR-S that’s as slammed, fitted, stanced, dumped, whatever you want to call it, as it gets. We’re talking literally laying frame and rocking that lip to fender fitment that we all love so much. The only downside to all of this is that it’s not a real car. It’s actually just a render by our very talented friend Esteban Biber. He slammed the car on a set of CCW’s and added a few of our products such as the StanceNation license plate frame, freshasf*ck sticker on the back window and that purple lanyard hanging off the door. He also cleaned up the rear end by removing the badging and lights seen in the rear diffuser. With that said, we want to thank Esteban for showing us just how sexy the new BRZ/FRS will be when the stance/fitment crowd get’s their hands on one! How many of you would consider getting into one of these after you saw this photo? Drop a comment below and let us know!

Theres going to be lots of hate about stanced brz and frs in the future since everyone suddenly became a real racer when they found out this car was coming out. Looks good to me too though. Will I rock something that cambered in the rear, prolly not but loving the ccw classics on this car:eyebulge:

poormans_LFA 04-01-2012 03:45 AM

i appreciate the stance movement as a sect of car culture but it begs the question....why?? lol. to each his/her own. :happy0180:

MRZ415 04-01-2012 04:16 AM

Today is April First ... my current ride is "SortaFlush" ...
but I think being "hellaflush" will be very counter intuitive considering
the very nature of the GT86/BRZ/FR-S .. since these cars are made
to handle a corner well and at FAST speeds...

I rather see a car with a 1 inch drop
with stagger tires ...
245/40-18 in the back and 215/40-18 in the front...

SeattleBoy21 04-01-2012 02:32 PM

Yah, that look just screams GHETTO. Really hideous.

S2kphile 04-01-2012 02:40 PM

APRIL FOOLS! Right? This car was purposely built for one thing and it's gonna get ruined by stancenation. :confused0068: But each to his own; just be cautious when buying used.

I actually get mad about this stuff. I can't help it... The "culture" is spreading like a virus to the point that people are okay with running bags on STIs.

KeepGuessing 04-01-2012 04:41 PM

Morons have been running bagged STi's for years...Remember when the STi came stateside the corresponding Tien release was a airbag adjustment system that was a half-arsed attempt at "in car adjust-ability for performance" but it was used to get dropped cars over speed bumps...

People who do/follow trends like this are just idiots looking to get noticed because they can't get noticed themselves either due to their lack of personal hygiene or awkwardness in social situations.

I'm telling you we're 2-3 years away from the style called "Ruining"..It'll just be taking garbage and dumping it throughout the interior of the car, keying the side of it and running on one of your undersized spare donuts...

"Oh dawwg check out this brand new car i got...I bought it...and ruined it the same week!!!"
"That schiet is HELLA stupid brody"

I hope stancework morons are speeding down an empty highway all at the same time, and in a unanimous and syncronized motion all of their tie rods snap and they slam into a wall at 100mph, killing the scene in one gorgeous accident of glitter paint, stretched tires and fire extinguishers

Nice April FOOLS!

I don't understand how most of you can hate so much. If it doesn't affect you and your daily life, who gives a shit!

GenkiElite 04-01-2012 06:51 PM

So much for the handling.

 As much as I hate other styles, I dont wish death upon someone like some others lol!

dsgerbc 04-01-2012 09:46 PM

Meh, low offset wheels prob won't fit up front anyway.

Mr.Jay 04-01-2012 10:39 PM

stance looks good in most cases (the non extreme ones) but function over form please and thank you

wheels look good tho

Dave-ROR 04-01-2012 11:39 PM

Hands down the worst frs/brz pic/render I've seen so far. Shocking considering the lack of a ugly body kit.

blacknbean 04-01-2012 11:44 PM

do not want

serialk11r 04-01-2012 11:44 PM

I really can't understand what looks good about -20 degrees camber, but I guess there are better mysteries of the universe to worry about.

Longhorn248 04-01-2012 11:45 PM

IMO it looks pretty ridiculous, but what people want to do to their cars is up to them.

OrbitalEllipses 04-02-2012 12:18 AM

Ugh why do they always use that tacky instagram looking filter/post-processing?

Ugly stance, ugly car, ugly scene.

Don't blame the haters on this one. If you let the stance culture put their foot in the door, pretty soon suspension setup discussions will be overrun with with people claiming their bag setup or cheap hellaflush coilovers are ideal for track use/performance in general. At that point I might as well be debating cars with McDonalds fry cooks. :mad0260:

:not actually mad:

:word:

People who do Stancenation are usually highly impressionable young kids who want to fit into something, not saying all of them are but majority of them as KeepGuessing suggested:

I just hope it doesn't become the norm because it ruins perfectly good cars and people who are in the used car market will have lack of options due to trends like these. Slammed, FenderF#$^ed, etc:thumbdown:

Crashoverride 04-02-2012 12:40 PM

great way to screw up a car fast, bearings....gone, hubs.... gone...why even buy car if this is all your going to do to it.... sad, just sad.

I've guess I've seen it all dating back to air bagged mini trucks in the 80's, to low riders, to street racing, to the JDM look, pre FnF etc.

Here in SoCal, you've got good to garbage. Being that low isn't my cup of tea either but if someone wants to bag their car, scrape their oil pan and have uneven tire wear, do what you please.

As long as those cars are not on the track and can't pass tech, I could care less what they do on the street! They can parking lot pimp all they want. :happy0180:

koyv90 04-02-2012 10:05 PM

so many things wrong with it,
1.) Hate those ghetto rims
2.) Way to flushed/angled.

Guff 04-02-2012 10:41 PM

If Stance and Herrafrush keep it up, maybe Costco will start selling oil pans.

In twelve-packs.
