Is anyone else going to take the badges off their FRS?

The way I look at it we don't need no stinking badges!

There are (or at least were) like 20 threads about that...

If I owned one I'd replace the Scion badges with Toyota badges.

My first mod will be Toyota re-badging. Scion means nothing to me.

Don't give a damn which badge it has. For hell of it, I might have Daihatsu badge

I had a thread on this earlier.

A lot of folks hung up on the Scion brand. That really doesn't matter to me.

I just don't like the silver hanging out on the nose like that, but I think it leaves holes if you remove it.

I'm considering buying a second set of badging and trying to do a black/white theme on them like what was on the "Speed Racer" car in Long Beach, and black out the rest.

No Badges for my I think. I just don't want to leave holes if so they stay. Its all about looking clean.

Just can't figure out why the badges matter...

Do people think Toyota is cool and Scion is not? If thats the case then why not use a premium brand badge because the image Toyota has (atleast in the US) is an economy mainstream brand. Not a premium/luxo brand often associated with badge whores.

Not trying to offend just curious, I don't care what badge my car wears because I don't care who it impresses. I buy the car I want not the car I want to be seen in...

I look at it two ways.

First I think cars in general look cleaner without badges.

Second if your rockin no plates which is legal for quite a while No cameras can catch you. It tends to be little bit easier to get out of ticket as well.

Hmmm, wonder if I could find some Yugo badges if they haven't all rusted by now.

Just for fun throw on some Ferrari badges and watch the women swoon. +1 if you have Red.

Sasquachulator 04-29-2012 05:03 PM

I'd be just removing the FRS badge, cuz it looks like a sticker just stuck on the rear end.

The dont care about whether the car has scion, BMW, Merc, Toyota badges. those can stay.

eikond 04-29-2012 05:03 PM

I would definitely remove all associations with Scion. ;)
