When will magazines start testing the performance?

I'd like to see the slalom numbers.

I've decided to hold onto my M3 for a little instead of putting a deposit on the BRZ. I'm hoping they will release a force inducted version down the line. I think the drop in power will be too much for me at this point. However, I can't wait to drive one and see them on the road. Hopefully this will be a start/rebirth of an era of sports cars. We need more and the BRZ looks like it will be a homerun.

Should start seeing them anyday, with the BRZ releasing April/May in stores and Scion in June I would think April issues should start featuring full spreads on production version reviews.

Chances are NDA will release around the week of release. So maybe a week or so before it officially launches? Or perhaps on launch day.

When there's actually a press fleet of production vehicles. Since they finally started rolling off the line last week, how long does it take to float them across the ocean?

Probably takes a few weeks to cross the ocean. Then there will probably be a review/press embargo until closer to release date. I'd guess first production tests will be done April sometime.

That might haveto do with the press embargo we've seen rumored on the 26th of this month. We'll see- thats next monday.

Thanks, the short reads are pretty much all the same. I can't wait to dig into the numbers and see the impressions pitted against competition.

I dont necessarily need american mag numbers, ill take Jap figures too. Those should be around even sooner.

You'll need to be patient waiting for the latter, auto companies don't typically allow reviewers access to cars for competitive side-by-sides when the cars are just being released. I anticipate at least a 4-6 month wait for those comparisons.
