Noticed there weren't too many photos available of the Dekagrams on the brz so I thought I'd upload a few photos. They are 17x8 +40 on stock suspension. Tires are Continental Extreme contact sport 225 45r17. Konig lists the wheels as 16.83lbs. Let me know if you have any questions!

The wheels and tires look great! :happyanim:

Now she just needs a drop!

Those Konigs look nice on your BRZ. There really isn't a better deal on decently lightweight wheels!

True! That's the next major purchase in addition to a flex fuel sensor/tune!

Agreed! I love the look of them, they're lightweight, affordable and from a reputable brand. That's a tough combo to find!

Im a huge fan of the movement Konig has been working on, they've really pushed to get their name out there, and I like em a lot. Ill probably get a 17x8 when the time comes for really sticky rubber, ill retire my 18x8 to street duty

Konig lists these at 16.83 lbs, did you get a chance to weigh them before mounting to see how close the specs are? I'm curious if these would meet the SCCA Solo Spec Coupe rules. 17 lb minimum for a 17x8.

Will these clear the brembo brakes from the performance package?

timurrrr 06-06-2019 02:53 PM

Sadly, Konig Dekagram 17x8 +40 will NOT clear BRZ Performance Package Brembos.

It will touch the edge of the caliper that's closest to the hub.
See the black scratch from the wheel on the caliper on the photo below.

A 3mm spacer might be enough, but I didn't have one to try, and I personally don't want to use spacers.

Any chance to see if these wheels will clear the AP Sprint BBK?

This size looks so good on stock suspension. I’m sure it would look even better with a minimal drop. Do you, or anyone else, have more pictures of this wheel on the car? I’m really debating between 9 and 8 width for this wheel. I’d really like the 8s for weight savings and 225 tires, but I don’t want the face to change like with RPF1s. Thanks

So, i have this wheel in 17x8 on 245/40/17 and lowered on RCE Yellows. I think it looks great and very OEM+ and functional. If i had do it again i'd just go 17x9 because with the 8" wheel rear with the drop it is slightly sunk in. Regardless i still love the way it looks. I can try to get you pictures later.

Yeah pictures would be great because Im going for a similar setup thanks. I just feel like the 9s would poke a little bit. I’d rather it be sunken in a bit than to poke

It'll definitely poke if you stay stock and it'll look bad too massive 4x4 status lol. The problem with 9" and stock struts up front is that its too close to the spring perch. The rears will have no issue of course. Now, you remedy the poke by adding camber, but i honestly dont think you'll be able to run much camber if any with that size wheel, tire, and that offset. If you are thinking about lowering definitely get some camber bolts for the front though.
