Electronics are freaking out..

So everything was working perfectly fine this morning. I took my car in for an alignment and when I got back into the car the high beam light was on, there is no function in either signal (Not even in the car dash), Headlights are not functioning at all.. From what I could see no fuses where blown, although I possibly could have missed one. One last thing is that even when headlights are off and the car is off the highbeam and dash lights are on even when the left switch is turned to off. The headlights are aftermarket but I am thinking this problem is deeper than the headlights because of the lack of signal function. Any ideas?

It's your headlight wiring. (from a mechanic's view, it's where I would start looking for problems).

You might try disconnecting the negative side of the battery for a minute (then reconnect) to see if the system will "right" itself.

Did you check the fuses under the dash and under the hood .. ??

Then go i'd go with @Rayme 's plan.

I hope you get it sorted out ....:)

Well HillCountryGuru, you have a warranty with the car. If you are still within the 3year/36k mark I would replace your headlights with your stock ones and bring it to the dealer.

Electrical issues are hard to trace down.

I am thinking it has something probably to do with the headlight wiring. When I installed the headlights I took a couple shortcuts that may have led to some issues. I am probably going to just take it into a local shop and have them redo it because I just don't have the tools at home to do a pristine job. Being that I am not a mechanic, I just don't completely understand the wiring of the headlights with the complicated splices that are needed with the aftermarket lights I put on. Anywho I am just hoping that I am gonna get away with low labor costs on this one. Also its really a pain because I cannot take it to work because I get out at night and without lights its just not possible. FML

When you replaced your headlights - you may have changed the load on the circuit. This can cause issues if you did not balance it back.
