BRZ with header, overpipe and tune. OpenFlash / ECUTek before and after

Baseline dyno was with an OpenFlash Stage 2 OTS map. The only changes in the second run is an EcuTeK unit tuned by Doug @ TopSpeed.

2013 Subaru BRZ
- 93 octane
- JDL header & overpipe
- Perrin intake inlet
- Stock intake box, front pipe & catback
- ECUTek tuned @ Topspeed

TopSpeed in Alpharetta, GA. Full disclosure I work for TopSpeed. At this time OpenFlash tuning is not available.

May I ask what you are trying to demonstrate here?

I here good thing about you guys. I plan on staying openflash so let me know the second you do and about 4 of my buddies will be setting oppointments

That an OTS map is more conservative and less likely to produce power than a dedicated dyno-tuned profile? Which I guess everyone already knew. It's a nice amount of gains though :)

Just sharing my experience here. Thought this was an interesting result showing the difference between an off the shelf map and a pro tune. What seems especially interesting here is the car does not have a front pipe or catback installed and we've almost gotten 200whp on 93 octane.

Could you maybe do a comparison of the OTS map and a custom Open Flash Tablet tune through you guys? It would be interesting to see how close you could get to the Ecutek numbers with the OFT custom tune.

That would be an interesting comparison. I'll ask the tuner first what the key differences are between tuning an EcuTeK vs OpenFlash vehicle. If we could squeeze something in i'd definitely like to see that result as well.

interested to see the difference between ecutek and custom openflash.

E85 tune coming too? Might as well see how far you can bump up this dyno curve

IN for OFT comparisons....

Wonder how safe is the ECUTek tune.
What are the A/F ratios and how lean is it running?
If the tune is too aggressive then it will show bigger gains but bad to run long term.
