How many k's on delivery ?

Just wondering what sort of variation there is with the amount of kilometres showing on your odometer when picking up your car @ delivery. How many k's did your car have before you drove off in it?

I'm guessing there should be little variation since all cars come off the same line, into the boat, off boat to a holding yard before transport to dealer.

Lets also see if there is any variation from state to state.

Brand new cars are transported to dealers, not driven !

Read my first post. You know, the one you thanked. My Clio had 28kms at delivery. I dint care if someone took it for a run first. I've done 350kms now.

What if the dealer doesn't have a fuel pump and the nearest one is 4kms away. Would you want them to give you a car with an empty tank instead?
