like the title says does anyone know if a BRZ cluster well work on an FRS?:iono:

Yes it will. I installed a jdm coach works red stitching gauge cluster hood and fits and looks awesome!

I think OP is refering to the ACTUAL gauge cluster.

Lower spec 86s use the same gauge as the BRZ

I wouldn't be so sure. Even the USDM and Canadian BRZ clusters are different parts.

You're obviously confused.

The fitment is exactly the same between clusters but I haven't plugged one in to verify it works. Hopefully someone else here has.
