Z4M Thunderhill 5mile GoPro Footage

Earlier this fall I replaced my FR-S after 50K miles and 3.5 years of ownership. Excellent car, stellar community and a tremendous learning platform and experience. After a brief search I stepped into a Z4M coupe to get something a little more unique and packing more grunt (variety is the spice of life, right!).

Linked below is some footage from my first HPDE day with the car, 3 weeks after picking it up. Still getting familiar with the platform and the large "ThunderRing" Thunderhill 5 mile track.

Enjoy! Slowly getting better at this whole video editing thing (and driving).

Looking good. I just love the new west course.

Thanks! Agreed, I had the FR-S out on the west track in 2014 and it was a riot. I still feel more comfortable in the tighter (slower) sections .

I know it's not quite the same, but for the past little while, I've been pining over the Z M Coupe. I used to work at a detailing shop, and there was a customer I had who owned one, and it was just the coolest thing ever.

That was totally OT, but very cool purchase, and nice video. Something like this may be up my alley in the near future

Love those Z4Ms. I want to own one very bad after my dad bought his years ago but finding one with proper service history is next to impossible.

The Z3M look is definitely a bit wilder and cooler. Ultimately I wasn't willing to pay the same price for a car 6 years older yet (2001 vs 2007) with nagging subframe and suspension issues.

They are getting up there in age, this car was well-sorted mechanically but needs some heavy detailing.

Hah I can and will upload that. The initial intended audience was not so drawn to cars as the forums here :burnrubber:
