DSS 800hp Axles + PBM diff risers

Anyone running this combo? Heard from a FD pro buddy today that this combination won’t work. He said that the axle is so bulky that when he tried to install it it was hitting the subframe.

I recently picked up a 300hp turbo as a second drift/party car. I know they like to shear axles! I’m not going suuuuuper low. Upper tire grazing lower fender. No tuck. I was planning on installing both so this news is kind of a bummer. Now I need to pick one or the other?

Anyone tried this and confirmed or better yet found a work around?

Anecdotally, I've heard you would have to cut the subframe to make them work. You can always just call PBM directly, theyre super cool and always answer my drift related questions.
