Hood & Bumper Gap on BRZ

I apologize in advance if this has been covered already.

I purchased a BRZ on Saturday and the car is simply amazing. One issue I noticed though is the gap between the hood and bumper is not perfectly uniform across the front. It appears that the gap is larger on the passenger side. It is not noticeable from all angles, only slightly noticeable from some.

Has anyone with a BRZ noticed this? Are there adjustable hood stops like some cars have? Or is it not the hood and the bumper that needs to be re-aligned?

Not a huge issue, but I can't help but notice it.

This is actually one of the very first issues that was announced when the car first came out. Pretty sure there was a TSB for it around the time the vehicle manual got recalled and the tail light over torquing problem. I thought it had more to do with the trunk area though?

All the panels on the car are perfect. The hood off by maybe 1mm.

1mm? ? ? A little Bondo will fix that. :bonk: You're not Adrian Monk are you? :bellyroll:

Holy thread revival, Batman! But I just noticed this too on my 2014. The corner on the passenger side sticks up a little bit right near the windshield. Glad I'm not the only one.

Same here. Same corner. Passenger side near the windshield is slightly higher than the driver side.

And not being the only one makes me feel a little better too.

There are little adjustable rubber things under the hood. Mine was off too and I gave it a turn and it's all uniform now.

No kidding? Whereabouts?

See the little round rubber things on the 45 degree front brace? Turn either side and it adjusts the alignment.

I'm writing this on my phone so I can't edit the picture. If you look for the black rubber circle between the two brackets that hold the headlights to the frame...does that help?
