cliff, if you have a 2017 I don't think the LED's are adjustable, or at least I haven't figured it out

They auto level. There is an indicator light in the cluster that notifies you that this process is happening, Usually just after start-up.

I have my doubts that the LED's do. Unless it's done in a way that is hard to detect visually. My M3 had auto level and it was obvious from behind the wheel. When I'm driving adjacent to thick foliage/walls in the BRZ I can see the beam pattern strictly following the pitch of the car.

They do auto level on the 17s. Probably not as good a system as an M3 though.

They definitely do. I’ve noticed it while driving in darkness. Again, like Tcoat said it’s probably not as precise as other car’s but it does work.

"Works" and "works effectively" are 2 different things I guess. I don't think I've ever been flashed by oncoming traffic with my low beams on in +20 years of driving until I got this car. Now it is a regular occurrence. The height of the low beam looks correct when I park on a level pad with a wall in front of it. My M3 had a mechanical adjustment for the beam height that worked independently of the auto leveling. I've looked and don't see an easy way or really any way to adjust on the BRZ. Maybe someone will design a turn buckle for the leveling arm in order to provide some adjustment because I have had the sense that the beam height is too high from day 1 of ownership.

thanks,
cliff

Can you describe the situations in which it is apparent from the driver's seat?
