2011 Mustang...

So, here's the latest on the 2011 Mustang V6... yes, I said V6..

If the 6 is going to be that good... I can't wait to see what they do with the GT

400HP and 400LB./FT for the V8!

It's still a Mustang. If you didn't see one every time you turn around it'd be cool. :sigh:

Yeah... this is true :(

I will admit though, I have only seen 2 or 3 of the '10's on the road since they've been out.

I will have to say though that I am waiting to see the V8's numbers and if it's solid for a reasonable price, the FT might be out the door. :iono:

I'll be trying my hardest to swing a 5.0 GT AND an FT... the FT would be the DD of course ;)

Honestly, and this may be automobile blasphemy(spelling?), but I'm waiting for the ecoboost version. A nice 450hp twin turbo v6 sounds intriguing. But the 5.0 v8 would probaly be a better sound, especially since fod likes to tune the exahust to mimic iconic mustangs.

Hmm, are they planning on putting the SHO motor in the Mustang? Holy crap, my decision may definitely change if they do. Nevermind, just read here: http://www.leftlanenews.com/2011-for...t-the-web.html that they aren't planning on an Ecoboost Mustang for 2011. That sucks.

Sorry but there's nothing exciting happening there if you ask me. Still looks the same as the 05+ and just doesn't do anything for me.

Shadowsong6 12-02-2009 12:40 PM

S2k is Correct, there will be no Ecoboost 'stang

MtnDrvr86 12-02-2009 12:55 PM

it was said a long time ago when ford announced the ecoboost program that it would eventually make a higher power one for the mustang. after they released it in there other cars and trucks...havnt heard much of it in a while but im keeping my fingers crossed...of course i was hoping they would change the rear end and get rid of the live axle....but obviously that didnt hapen either

Agree. If I wanted heavy weight FR car, I'll look for Z or Supra

I have only seen one 2010 mustang on the road. The new V8 seems appealing (if the specs match predictions) if the weight is similar to the 2010's v8. But then again the price is going to much more than the ft-86. I just hope the ft-86 will be a fun car to drive.

It's confirmed for 2011. 5.0 V8 has returned! http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/17/2...power-5-0l-v8/
