Fitted. Love it. Pretty flush in the front and almost in the rear. http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...A5CDA81F44.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps4cf6e8b8.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...psfadcf8ee.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps7167d1fa.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps9ff61e8e.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps0b6b7166.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps428d40ca.jpg |
A couple of more pictures since I had a little let up of rain this morning before work. I'll still get some more if the Sun ever shines again.

are you lowered?

No, it will be eventually. I've only owned the car 62 hours now. |
Ah ok, was asking cause im getting 8.5's all around and need to decide on 225/40/18 or 245/35/18 for my tires. Just afraid to go with 35's cause of bumps and what not :-/, Also that looks really nice on stock suspension, i dont mind that gap at all.

I don't see lowering the rear being any issue at all. The front is slightly more flush but I still don't think lowering an inch would be a problem.
I do notice the bigger wheel and thinner tire being slightly less forgiving than stock but I don't mind it. |
check out http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp
245/35R18 is closer to stock diameter so your speedo will be a bit more accurate. Also, the difference in overall diameter between 225/40R18 and 245/35R18 is only about a quarter of an inch, so an eightth of an inch on each side of center. I don't see that making a huge difference in ride between the two. |

THANKS!! |
They look sweet. Contrast is nice. Axis rims are notoriously heavy though. You also appear to have added a heavier tire. Do you know the overall weight gain ?

I'm sure it's around 5 pounds total added per corner. The rims are 23.1lbs each. I knew that going in and was willing to accept it for the look I wanted. I've kept the stock wheels and will either use them or some lightweight forged wheels for autocross applications in the future with sticky tires mounted to them. |
