Should I install or wait?

So I have the following sitting in my garage currently.

FBM Premium Kit
AEM Failsafe/AEM oil temp gauge
Clutchmasters FX300

And I have 2 weeks off soon, I am torn if I should install or not with all these injector issues going on or wait? Maybe get a oil cooler/radiator and install at the same time? *ill be installing them regardless*

No question. Install and enjoy.

Don't delay the inevitable... YOLO!!

I too think that you should go ahead with the setup you have. Don't worry, it'll turn out a good rig in the end.

Make sure you take your time and install and you should have no issues ... Enjoy

If you can do all at the same time would be best especially if you can have it in time for your 2weeks if not just enjoy :happy0180:

Tons of forced induction guys out there with tons of miles. Adding the kit won't make the direct injector issue any more likely to occur. Make sure your tune has the updated transient timing tables, and enjoy.

I think that is misleading as you could already have the damage done before installing the kit which could lead to the failure after.

There is virtually no information on boosting this engine and the effects it has on the DI system. These injectors are extremely sensitive to heat by design. The increased cylinder pressure, changes in timing are all concerns going forward.

The seal issue could be as simple as tuning but could also be mechanically related. Until resolved the obvious questions arise on the reliability of the car adding 50% more power.
