cool, I'll try this out if I can get my hands on one

$24.99 for the spray film. It covers 10 sq. ft. I may try this on the rocker panels when it's available.

I use something similar for track days, called Road Warrior Plus. I was skeptical at first, but thought I'd give it a try. It takes me 5-10mins to apply...once it dries, it has a rubbery saran wrap texture to it. After my track day, it peels right off.

Looks like the kit is under $35. Wax then spray on... I might pick this up to cover the areas my XPel film didnt touch (mirrors, lights, edge of roof, door handles, moustache (maybe). Nice find!

I've been messing with this stuff, it is a nightmare to use. If they manage to make it so it can be sprayed on without professional masking; and add some sort of anti-clog nozzle to the cans, it may be worthwhile but as it is it's kind of a mess.

anyone else have experience with this?

xero404 05-06-2013 01:59 PM

ordered the starter kit from amazon but theres a 1-3 week shipping delay. I'm going to try it on the front bumper and hood. Hopefully some painters or clearbra dealers can get access to this so there can be a professional install.

clear bra is expensive for a reason. ~8 mils of protection vs this thin crap, and the craftsmanship it takes to do a clean job.

abutterman 05-09-2013 09:30 PM

can this be used on matte black painted wheels? Would be nice to have some protection from road crap
