Reckless in Chesterfield county va, need a lawyer any suggestions?

Got pulled Friday night doing 60 in a 35. Need a lawyer as Cehsterfield county is tough any suggestions?

Spoke with Greg Hough but was hoping to find if anyone had any experiences. I have been told John Rockecharlie & Rusty Gates are good but no experience looking for any first hand experience.

Yikes, arrestafield doesn't mess around. 60 in a 35 will get you popped about anywhere though. Best of luck.

I got a speeding ticket of 95mph on I95 last year, used Riley and Wells (http://www.rileywells.com/) cause of online reviews. They're based in Richmond, but that's pretty close to Chesterfield isn't it?
They were able to get my reckless down to an improper driving. Kinda expensive, but I thought they were worth it.

i got a reckless in chesterfield about 5 years ago. 82 in a 60. i was late meeting a chick at a hotel i found off plenty of fish. turns out she was 5'2 and 260ish. i'll save you from the rest of the story but i forget what lawyer i used. he did however manage to get it dismissed b/c i took a safety drivers course. he was 400 + court fee's so there is hope.

Anybody ever use Robert Flax? He's a participant in the Hyatt Legal Plan which is what my company uses and I need to get a reckless ticket reduced....

Not for me, obviously.

What's your record like? If it's clean you really don't need a lawyer. Fess up to making the mistake, say you're sorry and learned from it. Most likely they'll give you a PBJ or reduced charge with a fine.

It's for my wife. She has a perfect record. I figure I may as well get her legal representation since it is paid for by my company...

We'll if it's paid for by your company that's a different story. Go right ahead. It's just a lot of times you pay for an attorney to get what you'd get anyways in traffic court.

If you don't mind me asking, where in Chesterfield was this?

You should. MD is not VA and they don't just hand out PBJ or offer driving school.

My gf had a 100% perfect record, she was 26 years old doing 13 over in some small VA county. Appeared in court, asked for reduced fine or driving school. Nope, guilty, full fine. No one in that court got any reduction.

Greg Sheldon and Associates. He helped me out years and years back get a reckless knocked down to failure to obey a highway sign.

Smaller towns/counties can be rough, they want all the money they can get.

I've had nothing but luck in Chesterfield and Henrico courts, though I've never gotten a reckless ticket. Those are pretty hard to beat.

But I ask where she got the ticket because there are a few areas that are 55 zones that suddenly drop to a 35/45 zone. One in particular is down a steep hill, and usually has a lot of truck traffic making it difficult for a lead car to slow down without getting rear ended.

US29, Madison County (population 13,308). 73/60, bright sunny day. Cops are just out for money from weekend UVA traffic. Well known speed trap, I never exceed 65 in that area.

I'm sure every judge is different.
