Carbon buildup
Is it a problem on our combination DI/PI cars as it is on DI alone? Should I run a fuel additive periodically? Is a catch can worth adding? I use only Mobil gas because the Ferrari Club rates it among the cleanest burning.

No
No Not really unless really pushing the engine. Not a Ferrari. |

Yep, Like @Tcoat says, the port injection part of the fuel delivery system pretty takes care of most carbon in the system.
Fuel additives in modern engines benefit the owner more than the engine. Catch cans are more for mod freaks than the engine (for most not tracked cars). I understand Mobile gas is good gas. humfrz |

No, I actually have some pics of the intake manifold off if you'd like to see them.

The catch can is less for the fuel injectors and more for the top of the piston, preventing carbon buildup and excess water being burned in the combustion chamber.... |

Just set up dropbox. Let's see if this works. 328 on Blue Ridge Parkway. Can't find any of the 308 at the moment. Probably on an old storage disc. Sold it more than 10 years ago.
