NA engine kits?

I looked for thread about this and did not find any. All are about FI.

I am sure many will looks for solutions to get a bit more power/torque. The easiest solution would bolt-on supercharger- or turbochargerkits. I for one, want to keep the NA engine.
Any chance Tomei, HKS or especially Cosworth will come with a larger displacement kit? The FA engine will not get most power, as focus will also lie on consumption. Now Crossworth could leave that aside and rebore & restroke the 86x86 engine to let us say 90x90, depending of course on the block. Then with other more expensive works, ITB, ECU,... the power/torque and even redline could rise up and reach some good 250 PS/250 Nm wiht 8.000 RPM redline. I know such thing would cost about 6.000 €, but would anybody of the faithful to NA be interested in such a modd?

One question, who the hell are Crossworth? Is it a company from the USA? In the UK we have Cosworth.

lol I had a laugh at that too

JUN was who I was gonna mention as well they usually do that kind of thing

It will be interesting to see if we can make some frankenstein motors with bottom ends from lower displacement blocks or what not

I'm sure Tech Works up in Canada will be building some sick N/A blocks. Very pricey though.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a stroker kit. Maybe they'll be reliable on these. They tend not to do wonderfully long term for most little 4 cylinder engines that I've seen.

NA is expensive though, get ready to spend money if you want to go that route.

I'm still waiting to see what the car is like stock before even attempting to guess what I'll want to change.

Yea as much as NA is awesome NA tuning is painful on the wallet

Will be interesting to find out what will be availble.

Prehaps is you wanted to bore it larger you may have to fit aftermarket bigger liners in aswell?
Depending on how much metal there will be there on the original liners.

Totally Agree...

perhaps, but this engine sounds like it'll survive endurance racing...

which means for us club racers, we can go alot of laps ...and perhaps no overheating.

Maybe we'll drive the stock engine till it blows...which may very well last 200k+ miles...

and then do an 11,000 rpm engine transplant.

ROFL 11000 RPM and tofu go so well!

Plenty (well a few) of 11,000RPM "street" motors out there. People do it just to do it.
