BRZ Headlights on an FRS?

Hey guys does anyone know if BRZ headlights are the same size and will work in an FRS? I really love the way they look and would love to run the Stock HIDs...

The bumper is different.

I recently saw an aftermarket headlight option for the FR-S that had a similar style to the BRZ and actually looked good. It was the only one I would ever consider. I forget who makes them though.

They will fit, physically. You will however have to figure out how to mate your stock harness to the headlight, as the connectors are all different.

I've done it to mine, below is a thread l created detailing the wiring changes. Repining the connectors was very easy to do (as long as you have the BRZ wirring looms as they are 8 pin where as GT's/FRS's are 6).

Actually, here's the diagram with the GT and BRZ's wiring:

@2SeeKU Did the lights fit the bumper? Were there any hiccups in the install?

Here's a easier, cheaper and better looking alternative :) the SpecD headlights.

Lights fit without issue. You simply remove a piece of plastic which covers the tip of the light:

@2SeeKU. It is great to finally see someone confirm the exact setup/install of the BRZ headlights into the FRS/GT86. Were you able to install/utilize the manual leveling switch that is in the BRZ dash? Or did you do that yourself?

Certainly was. Its entirely plug and play. Other then repining the looms, no other changes were required.

I don't think it is plug and play on the FRS. GT86 has the wiring because it comes with auto levelers stock correct?
