Found the rest of the First 86 cars :)
 

Hey guys,


So I went to a car show today and found out that it was next to the toyota HQ!
I decided to walk around to find if they keep any toyota's/scion cars around and what did I see!!

about 10-15 FRS right in front of me...Found a guy walking around the lot and asked him a few questions!!

I asked him ME: "how many FRS do you have in the lot?"

Toyota guy said "we have about 80 in here at the moment, more are coming in this week from the Port station"

so i just had to ask him about the BRZ ME: "do you know when the BRZ would probably get here?"

Toyota guy said "They should be in the same boat as the FRS this week, but I'm not totally sure on it"

Well there you have it guys...will find out later this week! also for those first 86 guys!! your cars are here in cali ;)

I didn't see my Asphalt FR-S in the line up.:sigh:

It seems as if they produce in color batches, since so far we've seen silver, black, red, and white but no other colors on US soil yet (excluding pre-prod vehicles and the one there that looks like it might be galaxy blue but it could just be weird lighting reflection).

I assume the other colors will be on the (two?) subsequent shipments incoming soon, hopefully?

Actually 2 of the First 86 cars have been delivered to their owners here in SoCal in the last few days. I'm betting those cars at the Vehicle Service lot are for internal use. Toyota normally ships their cars from Japan and it lands at the Port in Long Beach. Once the vehicles are processed through the system, they are trucked or sent by train to their respective dealerships. The "First 86" FR-S are either already in transit or at their destination dealers, or they're at the port. BTW, Toyota has several ports in the United States. 4 main ones that are utilized. 2 on the West Coast (Long Beach, CA & Portland, OR (also Benicia) and 2 on the east (Newark, NJ & Jacksonville, FL).

Toyota HQ. Fifteen Minutes.
