I bet the majority of the entries came from memebers on this site. At least 1 has to be chosen. I mean, even if they are a lurker, I think they'd make a new account and share some info..... right....

We should start getting emails tomorrow if anyone is lucky enough to be chosen.

I dont see the point of being one of the first "86" people to own the car... If there was some sort of limited edition or discount then it would be worth to sign up.

I'm sure there will be some kind of bonus for being one of the First 86.

Probably, we will see. Honestly I probably would've signed up to see if I would be one of the first 86.. but seeing as Im deployed can't really do that.

It's more of a thing for collectors or nostalgic people.

History of the first boatload of 240Z from Datsun. Very similar to us, it was the beginning of the Japanese sports car market. Maybe the FR-S will be a cult car some day and people will look back fondly on the first 86.

If they were looking back at the first 86, they'd be looking at the old Corolla AE86?? :)
