roof spoiler that forces air down rear window

Ok...so this is probably not the best for aero, but does anyone know if there is such as a thing as a roof spoiler that pushes air down the rear window so that it would clear dew and rain water off?

I'm REALLY missing not having a rear wiper lately.....

Recently saw some FRS with a phony NACA duct that vented out the back. That's it though. Ok so that wasn't very helpful.

Rain-X works wonders in Washington. Beads up, rolls off, rinse, repeat, re-apply every 3-6 months or so.

I've been hesitant to try Rain-x or other coating. I tried rainx a few years back on my front windshield and it worked great as long as it was actually raining, but when it was foggy/misty, I was using my wipers a lot more to clear the mist off the windshield.

I use rainX on the BRZ and I have never had issues with foggyness

Looking for something like this i'm guessing? This is off an Impreza. It would look good on a twin I think :)

I use Aquapel. Basically the same thing as RainX, just lasts a lot longer.

Hmmm...never heard of this stuff.... lasts longer and works better or same?

The video shows Rainx and Aquapel on the same windshield (a Mini) for 60 days. RainX lasts about 20 days and aquapel is still going at 60. Pretty much the same results initially, but with Aquapel you don't have to re-apply every 2 weeks.

If you're talking about clearing the window before you drive away, why not just get a small squeegee and stick that in your glovebox? Something like this: (generic pic found in google search)

If your issue is when you're actually driving, go with Rain-X/Aquapel so the water doesn't build up in the first place.

A small "trip" on the roof would probably get the air reattached to the rear glass, and help move the water. It would take some testing to get the location, and height right, but it could be as simple as some clear bra material, a few layers thick. Vortex generators may work too.
