Dynosty Turbo FR-S FA20 Highest Horsepower Record 324WHP

After tuning on low boost, the FR-S was fitted with a Haltech boost control kit and the boost was raised to 9psi. The result was an impressive 324 WHP on our Dyno Dynamics dyno!

For reference, this FR-S made 153WHP stock on our dyno (baseline dyno).

This turbocharged FR-S build consists of:
· Dynosty Scion FR-S Subaru BRZ Single Turbo Kit with Tial GT2871R Turbocharger
· Tial MVR 44mm Wastegate and Tial Blow Off Valve
· Injector Dynamics 850cc Fuel Injectors running E85
· Haltech Platinum Sport standalone engine management
· Haltech Wideband and Haltech Advanced Boost Control System
· Dyno Tune by Hal at Dynosty
· Traklite 18" Wheels
· BC Racing Suspension

Interested in seeing how long the stock transmission lasts with that torque on it.

Any idea what horsepower/tq the internals/clutch can handle? Is this power level reliable in the long run or were you just looking to get high numbers?

TouchMyHonda 08-10-2012 06:23 PM

holy shittt

JohnATL 08-10-2012 06:24 PM

Can you run normal 93 octane with this setup or only E85?

PRORICAN 08-10-2012 06:25 PM

Nobody knows the limits of the new FA20. We were taking a chance going to this level - more than double the factory whp. Time will tell though - I'm sure it won't be long for someone to find the breaking point of the stock internals.

awesome!! next question
1. Reliability
2. Cost
3. Available for sale? if yes on 1 & 2
