Wheel Directory: WedsSport TC105X 17x8.0 +42

Anyone has these?
So far I was only able to find one photo of TC105X in this size on a BRZ.

Let's collect more photos of these beautiful wheels!
Photos with Performance Package Brembos score double points :D

(I know there's a similar thread for TC105N, but I'm looking for TC105X photos specifically)

This is a great idea. I am strongly considering getting these wheels for my 2019 BRZ I just picked up a couple weeks ago.

Those wheels just came out, so I'm not sure if anyone has installed them yet.

There are a few youtube videos about them. I didn't watch any of them, but they might be worth a look.

So as promised in another thread here are some pics. I've tried to get some in shade and in direct sunlight photos because it really affects how do they look.
The're wrapped in 225/45 MPS4 and the car sits on stock suspension.
I hope that someone will find this photo dump usefull :thanks:

You da man! Thanks

How did you get the center caps? Or are you not using hubcentric rings?

blackstripe77 06-23-2019 01:33 AM

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for!

Now they just need to release these in the TS-TITAN color!

I’m using Gruppe-S hubcentric caps with 59mm vinyl Subaru logo sticker attached to them. So far they’re holding up great after many washes with pressure washer, active foam, tar and glue remover, wheel cleaners and all other sorts of car care products :)

Gruppe-S provided great service getting those caps shipped to me and they do fit really well.

Thanks for posting these up...waiting patiently until you drop the car and get alignment to see what the end result looks like :clap:

You're welcome :)

Dropping the car isn't going to happen any time soon. I've already scraped plastic piece near front crossmember with stock ride height - many roads in Poland are still crap. I'm planning to get Bilstein B6 or TS/PP dampers soon as well camber bolts up front to get the car somewhat more trackworthy.

Fitment wise there are some pics of lowered cars with TC105N in 17x8+42 thread ;)

By the way, are you able to write a brief review on how the car feels now as the wheels are much lighter?

They do feel great. Steering feels more nimble than before - even when parked you'll feel how much less efford is needed to turn the steerng wheel.
Sudden road surface changes seem to upset the car in less violent way than before. I'd also say that the car feels more responsive to quick throttle application than before - almost like it got a little bit torquier. It's a subtle change but after driving for 15 000km with stock setup I can tell that the car benefits from it.

this will be the wheels i'll be getting if i want to get back to the modding scene. imo, 17x8.0 +42 with 225/45/17 tires are the perfect setup for our cars. do 17x8 +42 clear the stock struts?
