Also, I've come across some information that is conflicting... Is the torque value for the strut tower bar nuts (front) 17 ft/lbs or 11.8 ft/lbs?

GrimmSpeed recommends 12 ft/lbs, but I torqued mine to about 20. No problem with the bolts, but I wouldn't go any higher than that. Otherwise, SNAP!!! :confused0068:

17 is probably good and tight and also nice and safe.

Anyone recognize these bolt identification markings. Trying to determine proper tightening torque. Thanks in advance.

Correct value is 12 ft/lbs according to the repair manual.

There are several sub-frame bolts. Which ones are you referring to?

I understand that but most references I've come across have the classes as 4.6, 5.8, 8.8, 9.8, etc... I have not come across the ones I posted above.

OK. In case you haven't seen it, the full repair manual is here:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12135

If you download the portfolio version it is easier to navigate. It has all of the torque values with pictures.
