--- has been working on design and prototyping of some new rear louvers for a couple months and just released a picture of their progress.
There is a pre-order going but it is only open until the 24th! Check out --- if you are interested. They are going for a look closer to what we saw with the prototype TRD louvers than what was actually released. The lames are spaced to allow clearance for both the stock 3rd brake light and for those of us who have relocated the light to the headliner. It does away with the funky cutout but utilizes the same mounting design as has been proven in the TRD.
The plans are for it to be offered in FRP and carbon, both receiving a UV resistant gel coat and backed by a warranty. The cool thing about the carbon is Fisk has given the option of carbon with different color wire ingrained in the weave. I'll add some pictures of this and some of their completed products.
This was ---'s explanation of the photo above. "So basically, the white part is some new parts in foam that are added to the frame. That way it allows perfect visibility of the 3rd brake light without any cutouts. The foam will not be present in the final parts, this is just for molding purposes, the parts will be 3mm thick, not 1.25" thick! See the final part like a film you'd add on top of this whole thing, that'd be the part!"
