Annoyed by ads in the tech sections?
 

Of the 6 Site Moderators, two have not been on in months (March and May) and one is only on sporadically and I have never once seen a comment by them (that I can recall).
That leaves Ichi, Dave and Guff to try to monitor 1,000s of posts a day across hundreds of threads.
It has been said many times that people just need to report things when they see them. When they are made aware one of the 3 active guys will deal with it how they see fit. There are not many days that go by where I don't bring something up to their attention. Sometimes they agree and act on it and sometimes they just let it go but at least I know that they will act if it is indeed a problem.

Back on topic, I do notice that sponsors bumping their threads in technical section of the forum & when I see it, I delete em. If anyone see that, report it!

Repeated bumps and advertisement on regional forums should not be allowed.

Do you guys click on the Report buttons when you find this stuff?
I have always found things get dealt with pretty fast if they are reported properly. Been a bit of a lag lately since the two mods that are here the most are both tied up with the Expo plans but overall they seem plenty speedy.

Yes, each and every reported post is reviewed by me and/or one of the moderators.

If you see violations of any kind, or even just something that goes against site decorum, please report the post and it will be brought to our attention immediately.

Yes I fully agree that they are. I was asking the guys that were complaining if they were reporting individual posts when they saw them.
Since I spend way too much time here report several a day and they are always dealt with promptly.
