If they do, I'll bet it's a hybrid :P

Yes!

Anyone who hasn't already given up on Mitsubishi is delusional.

If it was decent and affordable, I would get it. My Eclipse GSX is still my favorite all around car. The Evo X does feel a bit too large for me so I would want something smaller like the Eclipse. I hope they make it and make it good.

Looks gorgeous from this angle:

But yeah, realistically, they will probably not build another sports car. The last they spoke to the CEO, he had no interest in sports cars. And at this rate, they may even pull out of North America.

I'd rather have an Evo over a 3000GT any day.

YukiHachiRoku 04-16-2014 01:36 PM

People be like, is that the new eclipse? ._.

I'd say snowball's chance in hell considering Mitsu's current financial situation and their apparent desire to make everything hybrid/eco.

Which is too bad, that concept is probably the prettiest thing to come out of japan since the 86.

You guys know these are both renderings of a Ferrari, right?

Well, I figured they were just renderings and I did notice they looked similar to the Ferrari (especially that first pic) but still... just fun to chew on. If only Mitsubishi made cool looking sports cars like they used to... :sigh:
