T56 to FA20 adapter.

Does anyone out there make an adapter to mate the t56 to the FA20 or any other real trans for that matter? I'm tired of the stock transmission it's a piece of junk

I'm just looking to adapt a good strong trans to my car before boost. R154,t56, that sort of thing. Something fairly affordable but strong

Eh?

The new Miata (chassis code ND) has an infamous transmission already.

Jokes are always funnier when you have to explain them.

How is it a piece of junk? It's an Aisin box based on the same tranny that was universally loved in the S2000. Unless it's very broken this transmission is fantastic.
Change your fluid and try again.

Most of the issues in the manual can be fixed and it can handle the normal boost levels of an sc or turbo at 260-300 whp. I would honestly change fluids, take the clutch spring out if you don't like the clutch feel, and get a short throw to tighten it up if you want it more notchy

It is pretty well documented that this trans can have issues even stock, let alone when you start pushing boost. It isn't a fluid issue.
