Holy sh**t. That's gutted race car fast. This thing you leave the track, stop by the grocery store, pick up your kid from soccer, and head home.

Also in the category of irrelevant but impressive... the NIO EP9 with the electric car record of 6:45.90 (1.4 seconds faster than the Porsche). Technically I guess it's also a "production" model--they're making 6 of them and selling them to investors. [edit: it isn't the overall record--there are lots of faster competition cars around Nurburgring, and if the track weren't so bumpy a modern F1 car would probably get well below 6 minutes]
