Circuit Motorsports will be hosting the biggest 86 event to hit the Southeast yet!

This will be an exclusive event for all 86 owners - Subaru BRZ - Scion FR-S - Toyota GT-86 - Old School Hachis are welcome too!

Event will include:

-Judged car show with Prizes for class winners
-Raffle with awesome giveaways and prizes
-Gran Turismo tournament
-Food Trucks on site for Food and Refreshments
-General Admission is FREE
-Car Show Admission - $20 (Includes One Raffle ticket)

Wish everyone could make it. As far as the location choice @Circuit Motorsports is the Southeast 86 Club's biggest sponsor. We don't have any sponsors in a central location here in the Southeast. I'm basically coming down from Tennessee and staying half a week. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hope you have a good turn out though. Most of us, myself especially, want to do these events for track time at a track we normally would never drive all that way to see.

You will surely be missed. We already had nearly 30 BRZ/FR-S at a Florida meet, so I can't wait to see how many we get at this meet.

I vote to remove North Carolina from the Southeast section. I mean they have North in the state name. :D

Just because you don't want to make the drive doesn't mean it isn't a Southeast meet. If you host one in New Orleans, I will make the drive.

I agree that adding at least some cone killing would add something. I am hoping that there is a nice schedule and at least some drives or other things to keep people entertained other than looking at yet another Raven FR-S.

Look guys - We were asked to host this event - we put a lot of stuff together for this and we are going to have some awesome prizes and giveaways to make this show worth it.

We are going to try and have a pre-meet planned then night before at a local karting track for some extra fun - we just need to get those details hammered out before we post.


For those of you who don't want to make the drive - we understand this isn't a "central location" (even if we had a geographical central location I am sure we would still get guys who would think it's too far, etc.) - BUT we are hosting this even FREE of charge - so if you don't want to come that's fine - but we ask you to please leave your negativity out the thread.

For those of you who are able to make the drive - we are really looking forward to seeing you guys out there - it will be worth the drive!

There will always be complains about location, events, activities, etc.. There's people who put the time and effort to plan this. Circuit Motorports was extremely kind to host this for free, even though it will cost them out of pocket money to host it. Let's keep the thread about the event and leave the complains out. The event is planned and a date is set. Who knows, maybe in the future the location will be rotated between areas.

I am also cleaning the thread.

@L3P47 You would have more people show up if there was more thought put into a "regional" meetup.
@Circuit Motorsports - Im glad your sponsoring this. Thats cool. Maybe one of the other South East 86 Club sponsors farther north could host something. Im sure they too would get an equal representation of the rest of the region.
