Stuck Between Gruppe-S or JDL

Hey guys! I'm looking at purchasing a UEL Header for my 2016 BRZ. I wanted to get some of your opinions on which one is a better header or if both are great headers. I will be getting an EcuTek tune as well but I don't think that matters in my choice of headers. Thank you!

Gruppe S is honestly the best bang for the buck, but they both are really good in build quality. When my CNT rusts to crap I'll be getting the gruppe for sure.

I can tell you that you'll probably be happy with either. I have the JDL UEL and I love the sound and performance, and the construction is as good as it gets. Not sure what the warranty is on the Gruppe S but keep in mind JDL has a lifetime warranty to original owner.

JDL

Gruppe-S is literally a Tomei header without the badge. It'll do just fine, but I went with the JDL for several reasons:

-Made in the USA
-Beautiful welds and excellent merge collector
-Lifetime warranty (no such warranty for Tomei/Gruppe-S)
-I don't like supporting third-shift/gray-market goods

Edit: it sounds damn good, too.

Where do they sell the Gruppe-S header?

I went with JDL for the same reasons that @kch mentioned. JDL (and Nameless Performance) put out some quality Made in USA stuff for our platform. The Gruppe/Tomei still looks like a solid product and a lower price. A friend of mine runs the Tomei with OFT for the last 2.5yrs and has had no issues. In the end it depends on your budget, but both are solid choices.

With any purchase of headers, need to buy gaskets and bolts separetly?

it depends on which one you buy as each company is different. the Gruppe-S comes with gaskets and all the hardware needed (plus some extra)

I can confirm JDL comes with gaskets and hardware as well.

There are solid arguments for both headers (Gruppe-S seems like great value for the price). Personally I went with JDL because of the lifetime warranty and build quality, but I could understand if someone went with Gruppe-S too.
