Suggestions for sticky window
Hi guys,
Does anyone have any suggestions to prevent the window to stick to the door rubber seal in the cold mornings? Should I apply some WD40 or anything else? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

We don't have snow here but I use grease on my window seals every few months. I have a "first gen" so there is window indexing issues where the windows keep rubbing the door seal and eventually it destroys them. Also messed up my tint. |
No snow here either. But I also have the window indexing issues. I use ArmorAll. Use it once a month or so and all is good.

Baby powder.

3m window channel lube

I tried to post a picture of it but failed. But it's the original protectant. It's been around forever. Keeps your rubber new and makes the interior shiny. Just don't use it on the dashboard unless you like to see dashboard in your windshield.

The baby powder seems like a good idea.

That 3m stuff is a good call. I am wary of Using anything that would damage window tint.
I got some cheap window seal treatment off Amazon a whole ago and never noticed the door seals freezing. I do however have issues with the window freezing and not dropping until the car warms up. Not sure how to fix that. |
Honestly, my main concern with using a sort of grease or lubricant on the window seal is that it doesn't make my window look greasy.
