AEM EMS series 2

http://www.aemelectronics.com/images...fb247aa5-1.jpg they finally have a USB port on the EMS!!! :happyanim: if they offered one for my MR2, i'd upgrade (i have a version 1 with a serial port as my only means of connecting to it) in a second. however, it is very annoying that the Toyota EMS's are twice as much as the Honda ones. :( so who's going to get one for their FT when it comes out? this assumes it uses a Toyota-style ECU and not a Subaru-style. if it's Subaru-style, i'll just get a Cobb AP. -Mike |
no one else finds this exciting? none of you people are thinking about full standalone EMS systems? come on people!! get with the program! haha

If I understood what it does, why it does it (why is usually pretty obvious after I figure out what it does) and how to do it...
I don't know much of the different thingers like that. Im too new to the tuning scene I guess. |
so its a replacement ECU? Or does it go inline with the current ECU but allows for modifications to... whatever you want it looks.
Does the part where it says "Legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway." make it a PITA to get your hands on if your out of the state? |

it's easy to get one anywhere! they're saying that in CA, it's only legal off-road. -Mike |
I will probably be using a Hydra Nemesis. But the series 2 looks very good indeed
