That's 12.5 psi, your not gonna see that ran on pump gas because you have to retard the timing so much. Look at the 3.10? Pulleys which are around 10.5 psi, there's alot more people running pump gas on those, but once again, pump gas+8.5-10.5 psi = pretty much the same gains, this motor shines on e85.

Agreed. There are a few people on here running that pulley on E85 making 350+. I think fa20club might have had decent success with that pulley on pump. Ill have to find that thread.

Please do. I really want to run the vortech but I want 330whp

Don't think that can happen running pump. He'll I had to upgrade my injectors/pump just to get 90% out of the stock pully, and I'm at 274whp.

There's still alot on the stock pully, I'm tuned for 92 octane.

That sucks. It is vortech it fa20 club.

I have a 2.87 Pulley here that I'll sell you!

As far as peak numbers, we have seen 305hp on e60 with the stock pully with injectors and pump

the 2.87" will overspin the blower. The oil supply cannot keep up with it. And it is just a little much on the motor, the timing has to be pulled up top. I have a 3.125 on E85 pulling in the 300's my self.

Your exactly right, unfortunately I was being sarcastic because the pulley is pretty much worthless for this setup.

The car hits around 6000 rpms and falls on it's face when you try to use this pulley.

Yup... on E85 it can pull wonders but unfortunately will damage the blower over time. :(

But honestly.. on E85 on the 3.125 it is beast mode. I made ~ 2.5x + the HP of the baseline car at the dyno event i hosted. And i doubt there is an issue running the 8 ribbed 3.00 pulley that puts you smack at the maximum RPM this supercharger is supposed to handle.

So - Stock is 3.48, then there's 3.125, and 2.87 - I want to run pump gas - so 3.125 is probably the most useful one to nab?

And is the correct gates pulley for that setup the Hundai Genesis one?

Thanks!

NM - answered my own question.

3.25 pulley is what i want, with the Gates K060970 Belt.

To play devil's advocate, you could run a pulley like that with a wastegate and build boost faster. :iono:

A 2.87 pulley with an electronically controlled external wastegate tied to an octane/ethanol sensor would be a kickass tune.
