(HELP) 17x9 RPF1 meaty fitment

I need some help!

After months searching I found the wheels I want to run on my 2013 BRZ.

I want to run 17x9 RPF1's with a 245/40/17 tire

I currently have Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs which drop my car 1" in the front and 1" in the rear.

What offset would I need to be able to run this setup with 0 chance of rubbing? Would I have to ditch the springs? I would like to start getting into track days.

Going for this look (this guy is running 17x9 +35 with a 245/40/17 but I'm not sure if he has lowering springs or not. Nor am I sure whether his setup rubs. It also looks like his wheels stick out pretty far.)

+35 is your safest available bet. 17x9 +35 with 235/40 tires barely cleared my stock springs though.

245 would be worse obviously.

I really like your setup as well.

+35 is the way to go on this setup. Can clear BBK and you can dial in some camber without rubbing on stock struts.

And yes, I'll still flame you just a tiny bit, this EXACT question is posed about 150 times on the rpf1 wheel directory. It's a sticky, and there's pages upon pages of pictures, examples on stock suspension, lowering springs, and coilovers.

The bead measurement of the tire can depend slightly on the manufacturer. My NT01's are 235s but the sidewall comes out pretty square. 245/40 is the tire size of choice for most tires, though ive seen 245/45 MPSS work just fine on everything stock. I'm dropped on TRD springs on stock struts. I drive in canyons and track frequently and have no trouble with rubbing.

You can run 245/40R17s on 17x9et35s no problem with lowering springs. I did it for some time while autocrossing before I put coilovers on my car. If you run the 17x9et45s it may be a very close fit depending on how much front camber you run.

Btw you no longer have "stock" camber if you're lowered on eibach springs.

But yeah, when mine were mounted up I was barely able to run my hand between the spring and the tire. It was too close for my comfort.

Coilovers in and it was just fine

So I have 17x9 +35mm Enkie RPF1's in my cart with 245/40/17 Pilot Super Sports to wrap them in my cart. My car is lowered 1"

I've someone reassure me it will fit & someone tell me it won't fit without coils...

Anyone want to chime in before I buy a setup that doesn't fit?

Maybe I missed the part about you being lowered but are the springs in the car now, smaller in circumference than the stock ones were?

If significantly, then you should be ok.

Coils are just much smaller around than the stock springs are.

I'm not sure if they are a smaller diameter. I doubt they're any larger.
