Sexiest Car From the 80's...

In your opinion, what is the sexiest car to come from the 80's?

My choice: 1981 Lancia 037 Stradale

Going to go with the Countach.

I was going to say F40, but it isn''t a sexy car, its a great looking car but it isn't sexy.

I was very close to picking the Countach as well. The quintessential poster supercar of the 80s.
Changed my mind though.. twice actually. Was going to go for the 959, and then remembered the W8 started production in 89.

Ferrari 288 GTO or DeTomaso Pantera GT5 would work for me.

The Countach was such an absolute brute. I bet you would hurt after driving it. Don't get me wrong, when I was a kid that was the only car that existed for me in the supercar realm.

I used to walk by a testa rossa every day comin from school. It was more menacing and huge than sexy.

Jay Leno used the Countach as a daily driver for a long time, i think he has over 60K on it? I saw a video of the interior, hes a pretty big guy and he didn't seem to mind it.

But mind yourself, when your someone like him who spends 2 hours prepping a steam car to drive it for an hour...you gotta have a sort of patience and high tolerance for sacrifice of comfort and luxury in some cars.

Whoever said 288 GTO was right, though 037 is a close second.

8. Peter Stevens' Lotus Esprit Turbo (4th gen)
7. Aston Martin v8 Vantage Zagato,
6. Vector W8, (released in 89, but was a 90's...still counting it as an 80's car)
5. Testarossa,
4. Ruf CTR "YellowBird",
3. F40,
2. 959,
1. 280 GTO

Yep, Jay Leno used a 1986 Countach as a daily driver for about 5 years. He still owns the Countach, and it has over 70k miles on the odometer.
