Curious about the clutch as it seems nearly every aftermarket version/brand have issues that are driving people nuts.

The carbon roof, lightweight sport seats, exhaust system and forged wheels should reduce a lot of weight. Wondering what is total weight for this 14R60? If its less than 1200 kg, that will be better than to add power. 200HP is good enough for 1200 kg fun sports car.

Liking the front bumper and scoop and rear diffuser... disliking the price. It might handle like a dream, but still no HP increase. Also wonder, why so expensive at $57k... Bejesus. Reminds me of an LFA. So expensive, yet, similar performance can be had for less.

All that additional downforce will help when approaching corners, but will tax the car's existing horsepower levels on the straights. I do love the center exhaust.

WTF guys, did none of you "omg no engine mods" actually click the link.

If you did you would see they actually did modify it. Pretty sure it's putting out more power than you naysayers

:bs:

Under the hood, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine has been equipped with an optimized air intake, a high-flow air filter and an auxiliary oil cooler. Despite the changes, the engine's output is still rated at 200 PS (147 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque.

The high flow air filter is for the cabin. Rejoice at more A/C'ed air in your sportscar!

$57k? Hhahahahahhahahhahahahhahahhahahahah

This shit is getting out of hand! I'm so sick of seeing all these special edition 86s, there's practically no worth in buying one because by the time you get yours a newer more "specialer" (for lack of better words) edition model is already in the works.

Which is pretty much why I bought the most basic model I could get.

Seriously though Toyota, add power.

Wise 10-07-2014 11:47 PM

Imagine how pissed off you would be if you bought this and then they released a forced induction model next year for half the price.

Not a fan

TylerLieberman 10-08-2014 05:10 AM

I like the performance changes they made but damn... So many special versions and stuff of this car and not a single one has a higher power output.

They want 60k too? You could build a much better and more capable car for less than that and still have some cash on the side for track time.
