GT86 Part List and Exploded Views (PDF file) + other stuff...

Here’s the PDF I showed in the video last WE:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2z8l2ws64h...UR%20.pdf?dl=0

If you print it you’ll have something like this (the last week video):
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ne7_qNZacc"]gt86 parts list and exploded views, 380 pages - YouTube[/ame]

It’s not perfect and I’m hoping to improve it when work calms down…
I’ve also started trying to generate nice PDFs out of TechDoc, here’s something I’ve got for now (as you can see the idea is to concatenate the pages, generate an index, and update the links):

https://www.dropbox.com/s/z444lgzoqs...atics.pdf?dl=0

What I’d like to do in the end is insert the exploded views into the TechDoc descriptions as required to help get a global vision of what’s going on (maybe in something like the “preparation” chapter).
One way or another I’d like to have something where I could go to an “alternator” section and find all information about the alternator (parts, specifications, torques, how to remove/disassemble, wiring, troubleshooting, DTCs, etc. …). That way if you have an issue with a component, you can print out the section and have all you need to work. I like the idea although I’m not sure it’s fully useful (I also like just to read through car manuals anyway, that’s why I wanted readable prints to start with).

definitely downloading and printing this out

Everybody better grab it quick! I couldn't find any copyright on it but that doesn't mean it isn't there and it could disappear in a hurry if they find out.

Thanks much -- tucked safely on my hard drive.

Very nice.

I'm a bit confused with the video and the file. It says 380 pages and the file has 72?

Awesome, I was able to find the part# for the little plastic tape in the corner of the door sill with this. Funnily enough, the part is listed under the section for "body - side moulding"

Well Done! Any part on this car can be found now

@Harvey was the pdf too large to upload to the post? I uploaded it just to check and it seems to upload fine, you should do that to the main post as a mirror in case drop box gets a copyright slash or something

@ichitaka05
Good one for the Noob FAQ

"Where can I find part numbers?"

Needs a sticky to be honest.

Please sticky this. This is vital information for newbies like me to learn off and become less of a noob.

Surprised ichi hasn't responded but the mention function here is less than reliable and he hasn't been around a lot.
Let's try again.

Edit: HMMMMM for some reason the mention won't take. PM sent.
