Different colors?

I've been fooling around with different colors on my Blender 3D FRs model, and I thought that British Racing Green looked particularly spectacular, so I thought I'd share it with all of you. I'd like to see more color choices, although I'd still drive this thing if it was a shade of puke.
Much cheaper than an actual paint job, though. |

Speaking of British colors (or rather, colours), I had been thinking that the brown on the old Triumphs would look good on this car.

Glacier Frost Mica from Lexus would look stellar on this car.

I really like the mustang color in grabber blue, I think it would look nice on the twins. I hope in the next gen of the twins we will see this color.

Laguna Seca Blue. Probably my all time favorite color.

By the way, I'm posting these rendered images as fairly small jpegs (800x??, 72ppi) due to the limitations of the BBS. If anyone would like a full size rendered version, I've actually rendered them at 3000X1800, almost 4 times the resolution of what you see here. As for file size, the blue jpeg image is 150 Kilobytes on the disk- it's parent image file, a .png, is 31.7 Megabytes.
Let me know if you're interested in the full size images, or perhaps some of you might want the original Blender 3D model file (almost 40 MB), and we'll figure out a way to transfer them. For those who aren't aware of Blender, it's a completely free, open source 3D modeling and animation program similar in capabilities to Autodesk Maya or 3DMax. I still think the red is pretty awesome... |
