Bittersweet; traded in the BRZ for a M235i

So I've been looking at another car for a few weeks now and finally pulled the trigger on a M235i xDrive with only 8k miles on it.

I'm going to miss the nimbleness of a light RWD car for sure but the comfort and insta-torque of this car is amazing.

This is my first car (have owned 15 in the past) that's auto and AWD so that's new. My 40 mile/day commute to work has been brutal for the past 5 years so I'm happy about that lol.

I'm going to miss you guys, thanks again for all the information.

You don't have to go away you know. We accept you even without the car.

How is it going with not reaching for the signal lever?

You can still camp here!

The look on your gf/wife is one of just having realized the passenger door is still locked.

You'll be back :-)

I used to own a 2 Series (16 228i Track Pkg/M-Sport pkg). It's a great street car, but not a "sports car" in any sense. It's very numb compared to the 86.

Best of luck and congrats on the purchase!

Thanks, yeah this is more of a "luxury compact" to me, I really do miss the rawness of the BRZ and before that, the Miata.

@8RZ like I said, great street car. Overall I really liked my 2 Series. Unfortunately I bought it to a dedicated track car and it massively under performed in that arena IMO.

Just promise us you'll sell it before the warranty expires like a smart BMW owner would.

Also don't forget to leave your fog lights on all the time, 24/7, rain or shine.
