DIY: how to remove your front grille (FR-S)

follow these steps.. you do not need to fully take off the bumper. just take off all of the rivets and screws then pull half of the bumper loose. you do not need to remove the side marker plugs either.

now once the bumper is loose, reach from the top and remove the white foam guard. push the grille in on the edges until you here the edges pop out. this doesnt require a lot of force. when the grille is loose, twist it at an angle so that it doesnt scratch the paint and remove it out of the car.

I need to just remove the front grille to install the remote antenna for a radar detector. Could someone just list the steps for just getting the grille out only ? TY

Will just STEPS: 5,6,7 and 8 from the link allow removal of the center of the bumper with attached grille? Like 2nd photo from 1st Post?

just pull on it. Its easier if you remove the bumper and push the tabs on the outer diameter inward from the inside, then push the grille out.
