Modellista Toyota 86 Revealed

From Modellista, Toyota's in-house tuning arm!

The brochure mentions no technical details of the production car, but shows plenty of the exterior and interior.

Both interior views are of the manual version, while the close up of the shift knob is of the automatic version.

Switches beneath climate control are same as mule

Arrangement of climate control differs slightly. V-shaped vs. Straight horizontal. Doors look the same.

Gauges are similar layout

Btw, bear with the terrible MS-paint, but... what is that big button encircled with Windows-Yellow? And what are those little switches to the top of it?

I presume that's the USB/Aux to the left of the big button?

One last question, is the green circle referencing a manual? It reminds me more of an automatic? Its been a while but I haven't been paying attention to how Toyota has lately made their cars.

Buggy answered in the other thread :) or tried to.

tranzformer 10-27-2011 12:39 AM

^ Looks like push start to me.

Bah you guys are too fast lol. >_<

I see the replies, want to edit them and just throw it over here?

@tranzformer Hmm interesting though for a push start, didn't they have a key for the race car?

tranzformer 10-27-2011 12:44 AM

I'm starting to think this could be legit. Want to get some engine specs next :)

Thought most manuals look like that (note, this is just a random image found on google, not related to Toyota's at all)
