BRZ front camber adjustment confirmed

Here ya'll go. Camber adjustment on the BRZ

"Replace the upper mounting bolt of the shock absorber ASSY FR and knuckle with a replacement bolt. (Part No.: Flange bolt 14×60 (901000394))"

"The range adjustable by replacing the bolts is 0°± 45'"

Jeff...it has to be in 'both' manuals to be considered for stock class racing in Autocross... so its good comfirmation that its in both..:)

Why wouldn't this have been included stock? Is this simply a bolt with an eccentric?

It's the same eccentric bolt IIRC that's used OEM on every other Subaru. We knew it fits but it's awesome to see that it's in the manual if that means it's usable for stock autocrossers (i'm not clear on that myself). :) EDIT: see below.

No idea why it's not just included from the factory but I'd highly recommend it for everyone, even if you get camber plates. It's cheap too.

Andrew - I ran the number and it's original on the 2012 Impreza/Forester, and for alignment (crash bolt) on BRZ

Ah yes, Myles in the office is more on top of that stuff than me. Good call. :)

plus or mines .45 degrees....? Am I reading that right? Doesn't really seem like it'd be enough.

sparks 05-22-2012 06:50 PM

0.0" +/- 4.5' = .075 degrees - Recommended

0" 45' = .75 degrees - With the adjustment bolts

Its the minutes to degrees covnersion
