I was putting the OEM rotors away from a week or so ago and noticed something on the inside of the vanes. Kind of neat to see how well the ducts are working. Slightly gross as well.

We are working on restocking this entire kit in the next few two months. It's a lot of pieces to gather all at once but we'll do our best. FT86SF and a few of our other distributors still have have some on the shelf in the meantime.

BTW, if restocking .. how about thinking of alternative kit with longer hoses included for those that want to leave stock foglights & run intakes from center grill?

Adding options like this is a very slippery slope. Unfortunately, where we are at with our business, at this time, we can't handle this kind of customization to our product line.

3" brake duct hose is readily available via Summit/Jegs/Amazon/Etc though and then you can use 95% of our kit and attach the inlets where ever you can dream up :).

I haven't installed it yet but I went this route. Ducts and hose are readily available online. This is why Velox offers the brake brackets without the kit

Debating on getting the full kit, or just the backing plates and trying to route the hoses inside of the engine bay/under rail.

I see you have some rubbing issues in the picture. Would you recommend going a DIY route for a 18x10, meaty tire setup?

What kind of fitment do you have that rub even with the spacers?

Yes, our shop car has slight rubbing but I call it self clearancing haha. We're currently running two spacers on each side of the rack. Adding another spacer on each side would allow the wheel to clear the duct without an issue, which is included in the kit (6 spacers total). I made the choice to keep it at two to test durability and I like the deceased turning radius vs having 3 spacers installed, to each their own.

Specs are: 255/35/R18 tires on 18x9.5 et 45 wheels with 3mm spacer on hub.

I'd personally still run our full kit, it's the shortest, least intrusive design on the market and quite plug and play. Ultimately you have to weigh the pros and cons though.

Purchase the full kit. I had the APR kit before this one and it was a pain to route the hoses. They had to go up and around the headlights then down next to the exhaust header. Not ideal.

It's going to depend completely on wheel offset and suspension setup. There are others running 245s on 17's without an issue as well.

Every setup is going to differ. If it rubs with 3 spacers, it's likely your wheel/tires were rubbing on your inner fender before the brake ducts were installed. In some cases we have supplied more spacers to customers, and to people just rubbing on the inner fender and not wanting to run our brake ducts.

For people speculating on the kraftwerks washer fluid bottle and fitment. I can definitely confirm it won't fit. I'll be ordering the PTuning one some time. Also, I can confirm fitment of STi brembos. Can't wait to get this all installed!

You can see here the plastic "cup" for a lack of a better word that mounts to the foglight bracket and goes inwards towards the middle of the car is right up against of the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

You guys may be interested in this... I saw it lurking around a while back. I don't have link but I'm sure Google will find it for you... I found washer "bottle" bags and pumps for mustangs. It could be like a Capri Sun juice pouches for your windshield. That would make brake hose routing easy

Just use rainX in a spray bottle or that aqua-pel stuff and drive faster. Problem solved.
