Any idea on an estimated price for the wiring/ecu? Ready to order these mounts, just want to make sure the wiring isn’t going to cost more than the whole swap.

Worst Case $5900

Best Case $4000ish

Its very difficult to make a good quality kit that actually works for cheap

Do any of the current standalones do OBD stuff so they could pass the ODB emissions tests?

no, because its not really legal so they don't get involved

Figured that was the case... here's hoping Ontario (Canada, not California) gets rid of emissions tests!

Love the work you guys are doing! Going to buy my mount kit once you have the oil pan ready.

Noob question though. For people asking about a cheap ecu option, would it be possible to retain the stock ecu to run everything other than the motor? (p/s, ac, abs, cruise control, traction control, ect)

Then let say do a s2000 cluster swap to keep the gauge cluster non canbus and therefor easier to use/wire? That way you can use your personal choice of standalone system to run the engine and gauge cluster.

I'm hoping some politician eventually realizes it's not actually doing anything to help and is just a cost suck. Safeties on a schedule would be much more productive.

Yeah, definitely watching to see where this thread goes now!

our mock up header has been jigged and a production piece is being built. Once we test fit that one to make sure nothing needs to be adjusted, we will have a few produced for the initial run.

First run of engine/trans mounts are being cut, then off to powdercoat

Our mock up oil pan is being jigged up as well and the first test part is being built.

First test harness is almost done. We will have to do multiple trials plus firmware development so that will be the last part more than likely.

Would you happen to have an estimated cost of the oil pan?

Yes we can. Shoot us an email, pureautomotiveperformance@gmail.com and we can quote it out. We are closed until next week for the World Cup Finals drag race, so we might not be able to get back to you immediately.
