Just do it Chris! you never know.... maybe that body roll in the Forester would be really fun haha.

Haha maybe for like 10 minutes, but 2.5 hrs of... "I don't think I can take this corner.. hold on!" would be kinda taxing haha.

Uh, Chris - sounds like your Fozzy could use some attention

I've seen Fozzy's that can "walk the walk"!

Replacing the transmission. Was grinding really bad shifting 3rd-4th, we were talking about it in the off topic thread. Started showing up at around 15k miles

Haha I wish! It's a loaner car though, from the dealership. If it was up to me I'd get the XT. I was petitioning the dealership to give me a WRX for a loaner, but no go...

No! A hard breakin is good! Go at whatever RPM you want just be easy on the clutch.

During my break-in, what I did was increase the rpm's by 1000 every 150-250 miles while starting under 3k. So around 700 miles, I was doing 5.5k-6k rpm's. But it's all personal preference so do whichever you like. Some people will tell you it's bad to high rev the car during break-in while others say it's good. I really don't see any evidence that leans towards one another. It's more of how you driving the car that contributes to it getting damage or lasting a very long time.

Edit: Also you don't need to worry about driving fast. I'm sure there will be a few of the 86's that like to cruise along these drives rather than doing a spirited run.
