You shouldn't have to look down at the rpms when normal driving. Just shift by the feel and sound of the engine. The shifts should be nice and fluid. No pausing or waiting as Summerwolf stated....

I think I read somewhere that the factory one is also aluminum so it's light as it is. The increased oil capacity and extra aluminum will add more weight but should offer more cooling.

Have someone push up on the bolt from the bottom while you try to unscrew it. If that does not work, whip out a Dremel and cut the bottom off the bolt level with the nut.
